We have an excellent career opportunity on our R&D team working on our Xdrop technologies. This is ideal for an ambitious scientist with a background in molecular biology, biotechnology, or microfluidics engineering.
Your work would include developing reagents and protocols that match the needs from customers and partners. Depending on your background, your focus may be on the assays, cell biology or on new microfluidics processes.
Main responsibilities • Manage molecular biology and/or microfluidic development projects• Generate new concepts and ideas in collaboration with the team• Develop and test new protocols • Evaluate and document product development
Ideal background• At least 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience in biotech or similar industry• PhD in molecular biology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, or similar• Molecular biology experience• Experience with microfluidics• Basic understanding of programming such as Python• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team• Excellent analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills• Strong creative skills and out-of-box thinking• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English• Project management skills
